Salanjo is easily handled by two. Your crew, Chris and Sally, are dedicated professionals. They have extensive sailing and charter experience. As young newly weds they purchased their first yacht in England, a 53ft ketch, and sailed to the Caribbean. There they chartered their yacht for 5 years and were very successful. They became very well known amongst the travel agents for offering a quality and fun-filled cruise. So much so, the famous USA magazine, “Travel & Leisure” wrote an article about Chris and Sally and their yacht.
Since those days and returning to NZ to live, they have cruised extensively around NZ and the Pacific. Chris is a charming Englishman with a huge knowledge, experience and ability with all types of yachts. You are in very “safe hands”. Sally, a New Zealander, has sailed most of her life with her parents and then with Chris. She has spent many years in the hospitality industry and enjoys meeting people and ensuring her guests receive quality service and have a great time. Sally also loves to cook and you won’t be disappointed. The menus include a variety of seafood e.g. freshly caught fish, NZ green-lipped mussels, scallops etc. Other dishes offer NZ lamb, prime beef fillet - fresh vegetables, garden salads are never in short supply. Any special dietary requirements can easily be accommodated.
