SAFETY ON BOARD
Salanjo has been professionally built to the highest standards and to survey. This means that during construction all areas of the boat had to be built to a certain specification and then tested to pass survey.
We have on board many additional safety features as during the NZ winter Salanjo sails off across the oceans exploring the Pacific Islands. These include 8 man life raft, jon-bouy, life rings with floating lights, lifejackets, 2 Epirbs, 2 separate gps chart systems, radar, and 8 fire extinguishes, many flares, full communication systems including an iridium telephone. We are rated Category I.
Also, due to Salanjo’s type of construction, this catamaran is virtually unsinkable!
